The Young Co-op Members Award
The Young Co-op Members Award means every student at the academy will gain a broad range of experiences centred around our Ways of Being.
Every student is expected to achieve a minimum of bronze level whilst at the academy. You can gain a Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
Bronze Award
- Achieve my target grade in my EBacc subjects.
- Attend a careers guidance session.
- Engage in at least two volunteering, philanthropic, or public service sessions.
- Visit a university.
- Visit a museum, art gallery, theatre, concert or national trust site.
- Attend an average of 1 elective per week.
- Achieve attendance of 96% or above.
Silver Award
- Achieve my target grade in all of my subjects.
- Engage in a long-term volunteering or philanthropic activity.
- Attend an average of 2 electives per week.
- Visit two museums, art galleries, theatres, concerts or national trust sites.
- Participate in Duke of Edinburgh.
- Achieve attendance of 98% or above.
Gold Award
- Exceed my target grades in some or all of my subjects.
- Lead a volunteering or philanthropic activity.
- Attend an average of 3 electives per week.
- Visit one of each: museum, art gallery, theatre, concert, national trust site.
- Achieve Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver or Gold.
- Achieve attendance of 99.5% or above.
