Mr Fletcher | Head of Academy End of Half Term Letter

Dear Belle Vue Families,

As we reach the conclusion of this half term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've been on together as a community. It has been a busy but truly brilliant time, filled with achievements and milestones that we should all be proud of.  Firstly, I want to acknowledge each and every one of our students for their dedication and hard work during Knowledge Expert Week. This knowledge expert assessment period recorded the highest ever knowledge remembered. Your commitment to learning is truly inspiring. Keep unlocking the potential and being the best you can be!

I'm delighted to announce the successful launch of our Counsellor and Pioneers student leadership roles. The overwhelming response from students who applied and are now making a significant difference within our Belle Vue community is remarkable. Already, they've provided invaluable feedback on how we can further improve as a school, demonstrating their dedication and passion for our collective success.

The assembly on the Holocaust, along with the visit from a survivor, offered a poignant and educational experience for our students. This firsthand account will undoubtedly enrich their understanding as they delve into this critical period of history in their studies.

During Time to Talk Week, we focused on mental health awareness and explored ways in which we can better support each other as a community. It's essential that we continue these conversations and foster an environment of care and understanding.

Our recent visitors, including the CEO of the Co-op Shirine Khoury-Haq and Dr. Chris Tomlinson, CEO of Co-op Academies, have once again praised the remarkable leadership and exceptional qualities displayed by both our students and staff.

Their positive feedback reaffirms our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. For updates and news, please visit our website, where you can also find resources translated into multiple languages for accessibility. Additionally, we've launched a support page for parents to facilitate learning at home, which will be regularly updated throughout the year.

I'm thrilled to invite you to our Community Iftar on March 22nd. This event, celebrating the month of Ramadan, is an opportunity for us to come together as a diverse community and share in the spirit of unity and inclusivity. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support. Together, we are on a remarkable journey, and I'm excited about the future ahead. Take care, enjoy the half term break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back on February 26th.
