We are proud to be partnered with the following organisations to benefit our students and our local community.
Angels of Hope for Women
Angels of Hope are a local community group providing outreach services to vulnerable women and girls. We have partnered with Angels of Hope to receive crisis bags of toiletries, full of various hygiene products to give out to our students and their families, free of charge in times of need.
Anthem Tuition
We work with Anthem Tuition to provide one-to-one guitar and drum lessons each week, free of charge for our students. This has been offered to every student at Belle Vue, giving them the opportunity to learn new skills and develop their talents.
Belle Vue Amateur Boxing Club
Belle Vue Amateur Boxing Club visit Belle Vue each week as part of our Electives programme. Students learn boxing techniques and how to score and coach from industry professionals.
Biffa
Biffa's Manchester Engagement Team are supporting us with our community engagement plan through educating our students about recycling to work towards our environmental priorities.
Bikeability
We have partnered with Bikeability to deliver dynamic cycle safety workshops at levels one, two, and three. This is to support the aim of our personal development programme to produce physically healthy and mentally well citizens of modern Britain who actively contribute to society and know how to keep themselves and others safe.
Confucius Institute (University of Manchester)
Collaborating with the Confucius Institute from the University of Manchester, we are developing our Chinese learning facilities through a range of different activities. We recently embraced the spirit of Lunar New Year with an array of engaging events. From Tai-chi workshops fostering mindfulness to intricate paper folding sessions igniting creativity, our students delved into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture
Debdale Nature Centre
Debdale Nature Centre are supporting our community engagement plan, with a focus on our environmental priorities.
First Story
England's leading creative writing charity for young people are empowering Belle Vue's young writers with the skills and confidence to tell their own stories. This is part of our Electives programme.
Get My First Job
Get My First Job supports our students with various career workshops, getting them to think about their future pathways. This involves Channel 4 giving us an overview of diverse career opportunities within the media landscape.
Great Places Housing Group
Great Places Housing Group are working to create social impact in Northmoor. With lots of our families residing in Northmoor, we've partnered with Great Places Housing so we can work together to support our community.
HideOut
Part of OnSide, HideOut is our local youth zone dedicated providing young people with access to incredible facilities to to discover their passion and their purpose. Based opposite our academy, we encourage our students to become a member of HideOut.
Keep Manchester Tidy
In partnership with Manchester City Council and Keep Britain Tidy, Keep Manchester Tidy supports us with our community engagement plan, with a focus on our environmental priorities.
Magic Breakfast
Magic Breakfast supply our Big Belle Vue Breakfast, giving our students a nutritious breakfast every day, supporting their health and learning.
Manchester Basketball Club
Manchester Basketball Club coach our students on a weekly basis, giving our students the opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy basketball all while instilling life lessons and values such as team work integrity and sportsmanship. This is part of our Electives programme.
Manchester Giants Basketball Team
Manchester Giants support our academy through providing our students with free tickets and discounts to their games. The professional players also come into the academy to coach our students and equip them with professional basketball skills, as well as raising aspirations through occasionally joining us for Community Lunch.
MCKS Charitable Foundation UK
MCKS are the largest supplier of our community fridge, giving our families and local community access to free food.
Media Cubs
Media Cubs are working with our students to provide professional video production services, supporting them to become confident communicators who are involved at every step of the creative process. So far our students have created their own tv show 'Youth Unleashed' using the theme of 'support and safety' in the city.
Northmoor Community Association
Northmoor is a local community centre supporting us with the delivery of our community plan. With lots of our families living in Northmoor, we collaborate on community events to support our community collaboratively as part of our community engagement plan.
One Manchester Food Partnership
Being part of One Manchester's Food Partnership Network allows us to work collaboratively with a network of social food providers, who share advice, knowledge and ideas.
Stagecoach East Manchester
Every week, Stagecoach East Manchester build confidence and stretch imaginations through performing arts. As part of our Electives programme, our students have the opportunity to train in all three disciplines – Singing, Dance and Drama. We are also delighted that our partnership has secured 3 Scholarships for our students, allowing these students to attend Stagecoach's Performing Arts School each Saturday, completely free of charge.
Stride
Stride are passionate about providing positive pathways for young people to be involved in sport. As part of our Electives programme, Stride deliver various sport activities to inspire and motivate our students, whilst celebrating success and personal achievements along the way.
Transport for Greater Manchester
Transport for Greater Manchester have supported us with our Bike Library that we are excited to launch very soon!
The Jesuscina Foundation
The Jesuscina Foundation are the charity behind our food project. It's a pleasure to host them every week and support our local community with access to free food.
The Oasis Centre
We are proud to support The Oasis Centre, a local community group whose mission is to 'provide the unconditional love, care and support required to enable people in our community to overcome the deprivation around them'.
