We’ve been to an Eco-conference!
Published 25/04/23Last week, our Diversity Champions visited Angel Square, Co-op’s Headquarters, to take part in the Co-op Academies Trust’s annual Eco-conference.
We got to meet students from other Co-op Academies and hear about their current eco-projects, we were inspired by Co-op Academy Manchester’s Living Wall! We also took part in a quiz by Eco-Schools before learning about how we can achieve our Green Flag Accreditation.
We can’t wait to undertake our very own eco-project over the next year, and work together to ensure Belle Vue goes above and beyond to protect our planet.

The Manchester Giants join us for Family Dining
Published 31/03/23The Manchester Giants, competing in the top-tier British Basketball League, spent Wednesday and Thursday training in our sports hall ahead of their upcoming games against Plymouth City Patriots, Caledonia Gladiators and Cheshire Phoenix. We can’t wait to show our support at these games as the Giants have very kindly given tickets to our students and staff.
After they had finished training, The Giants joined us for a very special Family Dining. They spent the time chatting with our students before everyone did a Manchester Giants themed basketball quiz. Well done to our winners, 8E, who scored an impressive 100%!
The Manchester Giants then returned to our sports hall to coach our students on dribbling, passing and shooting. A big thank you to the Giants for supporting and inspiring our students.
