  • Community Grocers and Community Fridge

    The Jesuscina Foundation have made some changes to their food project. 

    Visitors can pay £3 for 10 items of cupboard essentials and receive free unlimited items from the community fridge. This £3 donation is reinvested to buy stock for the grocers. This £3 can be waived in some circumstances, please speak to Harriet the CEO of the charity if you need support.

    To support you and your family with your child’s learning I have provided an overview of the topics that your child is currently studying. Alongside this, all students have access to a Google site which provides them with their knowledge expert and ambition sheets to help revise the key components of their subject in preparation for lesson and their knowledge expert quiz.   • Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, visits Belle Vue

    Andy Burnham recently visited our academy after we wrote to tell him about the #TheBelleVueDifference. 

    Our student leaders gave Andy a tour of their state-of-the-art facilities and various lessons. In Miss James' Year 8 music, students sang a song especially written for Andy, and in Mrs Allsopp’s geography lesson, students discussed with Andy their aspirations for the future of Manchester.

    The students shared more about their curriculum principles and electives programme, explaining how community is at the heart of everything they do. Students asked Andy which of their principles was most important to him, to which he responded: "Co-operation".
